A decade in residence at Madison Square Garden has brought moments and memories of a lifetime. The shows in the heart of NYC gave us a front row seat to how music uplifts and unifies us all.
In tribute to the city we love, The Joel Foundation is proud to support organizations bringing the power of music to its students and communities.
To increase access to NYC’s musical artists and professional recording studio experiences, The Joel Foundation provided funding to NYC Public Schools to build a state-of-the-art recording studio as part of The Arts Hub, a first-of-its-kind project developed by its Arts Office, to create opportunities for NYC’s public school students to learn from-and with-working musicians, singers, and songwriters.
Understanding that music is central to healing and learning, The Joel Foundation’s transformational gift to Brooklyn Conservatory of Music for its Music Therapy Program enables a significant expansion of their important services citywide and helps catalyze a national model.
