Today’s installment of Billy Joel “Questions & Answers” drifts back to December 10th, 1992, “The River of Dreams” period. Billy addressed students at Five Towns College, Dix Hills, Long Island, dressed up for the occasion in a ‘suite n’tie.’ One student asked if Billy encountered any “stumbling blocks” during the course of his career. In his answer, Billy discusses the myth of “artist management” and what can happen if an artist doesn’t stay vigilant in the music business, drawing from his own hard-earned experiences. He also offers a unique take on what he coins the “tchotchke awards.” Enjoy Billy’s good advice, humor and a little sarcasm in the video below!
