Billy's “Piano Man” is one of 27 musical works to be inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame this year. The Grammy Hall of Fame was established by The Recording Academy's National Trustees in 1973 to honor recordings of lasting qualitative or historical significance that are at least 25 years old.
Paul McCartney and Wings' Band on the Run, Bob Dylan's “The Times They Are A-Changin',” AC/DC's Back in Black, Sinatra's “Theme From New York, New York,” John's Elton John, Billy's “Piano Man,” and Whitney Houston's Whitney Houston will join the Hall of Fame on display at the Grammy Museum.
